"Up the Drain" - Film
LOCATED IN PITTSBURGH PA - The George Romero Film Program, Tom Savini FX Program, and Benzidream FX Studios are holding auditions for their upcoming Final Product Grindhouse Film titled Up The Drain. Please submit acting reels, headshots, and resume. Specific roles and sides will be sent to you via email. Main speaking roles are also listed below. There are a few main roles available, but we also need extras to act as victims to the main killer. Please be warned that themes in this film are adult and intense. Heavy makeup and special effects will be used, so please be willing to be put in makeup and/or prosthetics. As this is a student and alumni led college film, roles are unpaid. However, on set meals will be provided.

Ms. Mckenzie is an overweight, middle aged southern woman with a bad attitude. She has an adult daughter named Bambi, and she is a very protective mother. Ms. Mackenzie is very religious and obsessed with a televangelist who she frequently gives very generous donations to.
Bambi is the adult daughter of Ms. Mackenzie. Like her mother, she also has a strong southern accent. She is petite, ditzy, a little trashy, and in love with the apartment building's disgusting plumber. Bambi is more "new-age" and thinks her mother's religion is a joke.
Debbie is a single woman who is very into fitness. Her role has a lot of leeway in how she acts. She is a girl's girl and is very not interested in the guy a few apartments down.
Wendell is an awkward, nerdy guy who has the worst possible luck. He is used to being turned down by every woman he's ever met. Wendell has tried to get with Debbie on a few occasions, and also has an interest in Bambi.
Jack is an extremely outgoing gay man who is not afraid to be too TMI. He is very concerned about his appearance and the way he is perceived by others. This role includes some very raunchy dialogue.
