Lead. Cassie is closed-off, dry, and quick to defense. Must be played with subtlety in some scenes and intensity in others. Dynamic facial expressions are important. Rate: $256/day. Total Pay: $1,024 (est. 4 days of work).
Lead. Vivienne is always stretched too thin. She’s holding herself together and paying the mortgage while her daughter spirals into grief and denial. Must be played with both warmth and a sense of resignation. Rate: $256/day. Total Pay: $512 (est. 2 days of work).
Supporting. David is here to help. Whether he’s a therapist or a youth pastor isn’t quite clear, but whatever he is, he’s kind and empathetic. He should be non-threatening and soft-spoken. Rate: $100 - $200/day. Total Pay: $100 - $200 (est. 1 day of work).
Supporting. John has been through a lot, and he looks like it. He’s got a chip on his shoulder; he’s pretty sensitive about the state of his life. Takes himself seriously but should be played a little bit pathetically. Rate: $100 - $200/day. Total Pay: $100 - $200 (est. 1 day of work).
Supporting. Milton is everyone’s conspiracy theorist uncle. He’s gruff, he’s grumpy, and he won’t listen to anyone who doesn’t listen to AM radio. He’s decidedly working class, but not a redneck. He should be tough but not confrontational. Rate: $100 - $200/day. Total Pay: $100 - $200 (est. 1 day of work).
Supporting. Ellen is every bleeding-heart liberal millennial with a “Coexist” bumper sticker. She’s well-meaning, but anxious, and her unease affects everyone around her. She should have a strong presence but she shouldn’t be a caricature. Rate: $100 - $200/day. Total Pay: $100 - $200 (est. 1 day of work).
