Seeking Perfomers for Holiday Season

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Looking for warm, high-energy people who love working with children and can stay in character. Currently casting for elves for multiple events, including a 6-week venue with multiple hours each day. See the details below. Rate: All positions are paid hourly rates during their events. Rates and contract details will be discussed at the audition. Additional information: Directors have about fifteen positions for this season. The characters are contracted through Winnipeg Santa to provide elf character services throughout the season for the customers. Those selected will be working as a contractor and receive a T4A form at the end of the season. Auditions will be held at a location in central Winnipeg, and the address will be sent to you after registering. Costumes are not required for your audition (though if you have an elf costume they'd love to see what it looks like). Costumes required for events will be discussed at the audition. For those selected, training will begin November 1st, 2026, and the event season will run through December 31st, 2026. As a contractor, your assignments would be determined by your availability during this period. Please note, the elf roles are very active, and require standing for long periods throughout an event. Directors have limited ability to accommodate for this due to the active requirements for each performance. The regular event hours will be Monday–Friday, 4pm–10pm, and weekends 10am–10pm, with occasional event times outside of these hours. Being available for as much of this as possible will improve your potential casting.
