About the project: “BURNED” is set in rural Texas, 1996 (shooting on location here in NC), and follows a Texas Ranger who catches a break in a cold case that's haunted him for over twenty years. A morally conflicting decision pulls in an FBI agent with a personal stake in the case, and the last surviving robber from the original crime. It's a slow-fuse story about people who each believe they're still holding the high ground, right up until the fire catches them. Rate: These are unpaid positions, but directors can offer experience, networking, portfolio building, possible credit, and a genuinely collaborative set. Compensation can be discussed if needed.
