"Dear Evan Hansen" Musical Needs Young Male Performer
Theatre is seeking a dynamic performer to portray CONNOR MURPHY in upcoming production of "Dear Evan Hansen". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details provided below. Rate: Pay: $600 per week. Spotlight service - A secondary role for performers assisting with guest hospitality—such as hosting, running drinks, or delivering desserts—during pre-show and intermission. Designed to fit around performance prep, shifts add significant weekly income, with artists typically earning $50+ in tips per shift. Travel & Housing: Housing is provided, which includes a private bedroom with shared living spaces, air conditioning, wifi, paid utilities, and access to a shared company vehicle. To portray 16–18. Vocal range: C3–G4. Dance/movement: minimal. An angry, disaffected loner, Connor has been a troubled kid for as long as anyone can remember, an enigma & a source of endless consternation to his long-suffering parents. This role requires an actor who can project intensity without chaos & convey threat & pain simultaneously. Looking for a performer with a comfort with ambiguity & stillness, who can seamlessly shift from a strong physical presence to a psychological presence.
