Anna is a fun, whimsical college student with a crush on her best friend, James. As a quirky art major who has always marched to the beat of her own drum, she is into mystical, “weird” things like crystals, tarot cards, and astrology. Therefore, she is a bit of an “odd duck” and not necessarily the girl that James might find attractive. Ever since she met him at orientation, she has been romantically interested in him, but has been too scared to tell him.
James is the typical college guy one would think of, majoring in kinesiology. Growing up with an older brother, he was huge into sports, nature, movement, and friends, but he was not as social when he came to college. He met Anna at their college orientation and became best friends with her in their freshman year. He is completely oblivious to her romantic feelings for him and does not reciprocate them.
