"The Cottage" Stage Play Seeking Talent

About the project: "The Cottage" is a fast-paced romantic farce by Sandy Rustin, directed by Jill Bradford. Set in the English countryside in 1923, the story begins with a secret romantic rendezvous and spirals into a hilarious web of infidelity, unexpected guests, shifting alliances, and revelations. The production features sharp dialogue, surprising twists, and physical comedy. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Some roles require a British-sounding accent. Other accents may also be explored, including German, Southern, and Wisconsin. No prepared audition is required. A short monologue showcasing different voices or accents may be brought, but it should be 1 minute or less. Be prepared to read, experiment, take direction, and have fun. Productions: November 13–15 and 20–22. Directors are looking forward to see you at the auditions.
