Aboout the project: Helen, an elderly woman living in bella terra nursing home, becomes increasingly suspicious of the cheerful staff and strange behavior surrounding her. as reality begins to blur, helen discovers unsettling clues that suggest the nursing home is hiding a dark secret, haunted by memories of her estranged daughter, she must confront the truth about bella terra-and what happens to the residents who disappear. LEAD. A soft spoken woman, but as the film carries on, her true, more sour nature bubbles up to the surface. Snapping at her friends when she is overwhelmed with the grim reality of her situation. Her anger holds the weight of a dark, troubling secret.
Supporting. Lynda is a woman who has been doped & drugged up for years, leaving her with a child-like state of mind. She laughs at jokes before the punchline. Only a harrowing sandness can snap her out of her joyous catatonia.

Supporting. Kind, overly enthusiastic and uncanny individuals. They sedate the residents with cocktails of pills & maintain an unsettling, "perfect", yet uncanny-like appearance. Their smiles seem to be quite forced, almost as if they are in agony behind the skin. Their skin glistens with a fake rubbery sheen.
Supporting. A man who appears to look less like his job description and more like the taxidermied ringmaster from a circus long gone. He speaks quickly and punctually.

Supporting The surgeons are the two mysterious, dolphin-like creatures in the basement. They only appear near the end of the story. They take pleasure on operating on defenseless & frail residents of the nursing home. Displaying a sociopathic-like attitude toward it all.
