About the project: A fierce winter storm mirrors the lives of twins Mikala and Jason, abandoned by their deported parents and scarred by the foster system. In a transitional housing program, Hannah and Michael help them heal: Jason through music and faith, Mikala through gardening, learning that flowers can grow in the midst of a winter storm. God’s Stepchild is a raw, hopeful story of resilience, and the power to grow again. Additional info: PRODUCTION DATES: First Performance: Enhanced Stage Reading: October 9th & October 10th.
