"The Man Upstairs" (Student Short, Period Drama)

Role: THE MAN UPSTAIRS Male, 30/40s. Supporting lead. Ethnicity open; comfort with Hebrew blessings a plus. He's the new tenant on the third floor, and within three weeks the whole building thinks he's God. He never confirms it. We're looking for someone with real stillness. This is not a booming, robed Messiah. He's calm, a little amused, quick with a dry line ("You're welcome"), and warm underneath it. The role hinges on a long, quiet scene where he pushes Eli with questions instead of answers. He should feel like the most grounded person in the room while remaining completely unreadable.
