Karen is strong willed and resilient woman. Though her life has not been easy, she has always been the type to face challenges and come out on top. But now, she faces a problem completely out of her control. Her spirit though still strong, slowly starts to crack under the uncertainty of her future.
The kindhearted and occasionally sarcastic son of Karen. He feels things deeply, making his PTSD from active duty even harder to cope with.
Laid back with a dry sense of humor and secret complexity, Judd works as a thrift store employee and part time, low-level drug dealer; a gig he only started to help pay for his own grandpa's dementia care.
