ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting 2 Hosts for a Fan Channel show in Toronto! (partnered with a Blue Jay’s Sponsor). Fan Channel is a co-branded 3-hour live stream (happening on 2 consecutive days) online celebrating Toronto Blue Jays fan culture. See the details below. Rate: Compensation per person, if selected: $2,000.00 per day. $600.00 per rehearsal. This is a non-union project. Additional information: Looking for 2 hosts. Ideally one male and one female — either can be cast into either role below; the split is on gender, not on which host carries which strength. Both roles would be relied on to draw inspiration and share their own Blue Jays knowledge, fandom and stories. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT SEPTEMBER 22, 2026 AT 10AM EST. Core Trait - Deep, credible Blue Jays/MLB knowledge. What they will do on air - Anchors history and current - season segments; judges knowledge checkpoints.
Core Trait - Comedic, high-energy, quick on their feet. What they do on air - Drives pace and fun; leads reactions to live games, food challenges, and fan antics. They need to know the sport, and have passion for the team, but they don't need to have deep knowledge of stats, players, etc.
