About the comedy: It’s Christmas Eve, and Maggie Bell is trying to keep everything exactly as it’s always been. Instead, a crooked tree, unexpected guests, a broken-down van and a houseful of interruptions slowly turn the evening into something she never planned. Some Assembly Required is a warm ensemble comedy about grief, family, friendship and finding connection in unexpected places. It has plenty of laughs, strong character relationships, and six substantial roles with very different comic voices. Additional iinformation: Location: Penticton. Show week: December 14–19. Auditions will be relaxed group readings from the script. No monologue and no memorization required.
