"Narnia" the Musical Casting Performers
Local & video auditions for "Narnia" the musical. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please refer to the details below. Rate: $762 AEA single engagement agreement - Tier C (Max 2 contracts) $400-$450 non union principal $350-$400 non union ensemble Actors with local housing are highly encouraged to audition as they have limited housing. Additional info: Directors would be delighted for actors of all abilities, disabilities, ethnicities, cultures, and gender identities to audition. All cast must be strong actors, singers, and physical story tellers. What: please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue and 32 bars of a golden age musical theatre song. Bring a headshot and resume stapled front to back. For video submissions, please see the document attached. Callbacks will be held the same day at the end of every group of auditioning actors and will consist of cold reads from the script. You will be told in the room if you are needed to stay for a callback and directors will be do their best to respectful of everyone’s time. There will be a mix of daytime and night time rehearsals. ASLAN - The Great Lion of Narnia. A wise, mystical oracle who is facile with language. PROFESSOR DIGORY KIRKE - The children’s uncle. He has a hard exterior but is soft at heart. FATHER CHRISTMAS– Jolly, happy, spreads cheer wherever he goes. (A3-E5). Puppeteering experience preferred.
PETER - age 13. The oldest brother of the Pevensie children. He is still a kid, but wise beyond his years. (B3-E5) [Note: seeking 18+ actors for this track]

EDMUND – age 10. He is easily influenced, naïve, egotistical, and jealous. However, he contains the capacity for change. (G3-F5) [Note: seeking 18+ actors for this track]
LUCY – age 9. She is honest to a fault, uninhibited, and a bit of a spit fire. Lucy always calls it like she sees it. (A3-F5) [Note: seeking 18+ actors for this track]
MR. BEAVER - A heart-warming, Cockney Beaver with great comedic energy. True friend to the children. TUMNUS - A faun. Gentle and kind. Morally weak but has more strength than they think. Loves humans. (B3-B5)
MRS. BEAVER - A loud, boisterous, Cockney Beaver with great comedic energy. True friend to the children. (A3-E5)
TROLL - Minion to the White Witch. Strong character voice ability. (A3-E5)
RYWETH - Another wolf. Fenris’ evil sidekick. He is a major bootlicker and willing to follow no matter what.
FENRIS - A wolf. Head of the White Witch’s secret police. He has charisma but you shouldn’t turn your back on him.
CRUELIE - An evil Narnian. An underling. All talk, no action.
