Strong dry, deadpan comedic timing - able to play total sincerity inside an absurd situation. Comfortable with grounded physical comedy (pushing/pulling props, exertion) - this is not slapstick, theatrical, or over-the-top but the characters actions should still relay the absurdity. Naturalistic, "real person" quality on camera. Must be based in or able to work in Vancouver, BC on the shoot date.

The Business PersonBoth genders30-40 y.o.All ethnicities

Strong dry, deadpan comedic timing. Comfortable with grounded physical comedy (props, precise physical reactions, controlled frustration) - this is not slapstick, theatrical, or over-the-top, but the character's actions should still relay the absurdity. Able to play quiet defeat and restraint - the comedy lives in the character trying to hold it together, not in a big reaction. Must be based in or able to work in Vancouver, BC on the shoot date.

Two FriendsBoth genders25-35 y.o.All ethnicities

Strong dry, deadpan comedic timing - able to play total sincerity inside an absurd situation. Comfortable with grounded physical comedy (carrying/maneuvering a heavy prop over distance, sustained exertion) - this is not slapstick, theatrical, or over-the-top, but the characters' actions should still relay the absurdity. Strong, easy chemistry with a scene partner - the humour relies on a believable, lived-in friendship. Must be based in or able to work in Vancouver, BC on the shoot date.
