2 roles
PURPOSE: The younger son and wry narrator of the story. An outsider and a loner. He has rejected the religious, high-profile path set by his father. He left divinity school to become a nature photographer, pursuing a mostly solitary life. The “weird son.” Self-reflexive, highly intelligent, has a great sense of humor, and is a magnetic person. Intimacy needs: May show familial affection for brother and mother.
THE WINTER'S TALE : Young prince of Bohemia. A romantic at heart. Impulsive, playful, a dreamer, strong-willed and a lover. Able to access authentic emotional vulnerability. Not a realist, and undeniably royal, at times it makes it difficult for Perdita to picture him in her world. Intimacy needs: Engages in some physical intimacy with Perdita. Special skills: Sings and dances in Bohemia.
