Casting non-union performers for "Crossing a Deep River: A Ritual Drama in Three Movements" staged readings. Please find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: A staged ensemble work celebrating the survival of African people in the New World and embodying the transformative power of memory, story, and ritual to heal historical trauma. Rate: $850 stipend for the run. Additional info: Rehearsals begin on or around September 20 in Laurel, MD. Staged readings: November 1 and December 6 at the Montpelier Arts Center, Laurel, MD.
