About the play: The Royal Shakespeare Company was set to perform their stirring rendition of “A Christmas Carol” but they made an unscheduled detour and they didn’t show up. Now the hapless community group of technicians and amateur actors has less than 7 hours to put together their own production because…the show must go on! An extremely fast-paced, physical comedy that proves that sometimes everything that can go wrong, will go wrong! Rate: Non-union. Additional information: Rehearsals: 3 times a week from 7-10 pm. Show dates: November 27, 28, 29 and December 4, 5, 6 2026. Curtain Times: 8 p.m. for evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays, and matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm, for a total of 8 performances. Show location: Beamsville ON. You will receive sides in advance and hardcopy scripts will be available for your use at the audition. When applying, please submit your resume and head shot via email, hardcopy is also accepted. Also, please submit self-tapes.
