About the project: When Tess moves to college away from her chronically ill sister, her new life is destabilized by the resurfacing of an old cassette tape and she is haunted by the fractured memory of a band from her and her sister’s childhood. Leah has been living with a heart condition since she was young. Now that her older sister has moved away to college, she is excited about her growing independence, now that she has one less person to worry about her. Nonetheless, Leah allows her sister to show concern for their separation, but she hopes that her sister can learn to let go a little.
