Voice Acting Audition for "Act III" Project

About the project: This is a final project for a sound design student at Vancouver School. It is a re-design of the Act III cinematic from Diablo II: Resurrected and directors are looking for a couple voice actors to bring it to life. In the cinematic, the hapless mortal Marius unknowingly guides Diablo, the Lord of Terror, into a tomb deep in the desert. There they attempt to free Diablo's dark brother Baal, but the archangel Tyrael arrives to try and stop them. You can watch the full cinematic on Youtube. Rate: Non-Union. $100 CAD for 2-3 hours. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) Flexible: Ideally Sept. 7-11, if not Sept. 16-27. Shoot/Performance Location(s) Vancouver. Submission Deadline: September 15, 2026. Marius is a slovenly, broken man. He's spent a lifetime at the bottom of society and is resigned to that life. He drags himself through his days without much impetus, having long ago internalized that his fate is doing what others tell him to do. A weak will and a weak, broken voice to match. No preferred accent.
The archangel Tyrael is a servant of the heavens and an immensely powerful being. He's a judge who has watched over generations over mortals with a kind eye, but is possessed of a terrible severity when it comes to dealing with evil. He has a deep, commanding, confident voice, with a touch of imperious pride. No preferred accent.
