About the project: "Magdalena, a recently sober woman navigating the thin line of sobriety discovers the difference between truth and insanity is thinly veiled, and sometimes a matter of perspective." Gravely voice, balding or thinning hair. Think grandpa that used to ride a Harley-Davidson but traded in his motorcycle boots for a pair of Brooks nicotine patch when he got sober. Still a Hunter S. Thompson fan, he's got 20 years sobriety, and leads the meetings Magdalena attends. Wise but not arrogant, quiet but no push over. Observant, calm. 4 lines $75/day
Smart, and likes to show it. Verbose, and overly familiar, knows all the current trends, and likes to use them. Often. Father of toddlers. Gets on Magdalena's nerves. 4 lines 1 speech$75/day
Soccer mom, nagging voice type. The typical "Karen", but sober. So worse. 2 lines $75/day
Tall, lanky pot head type. Tattoos. Former pot, acid, mushroom head. Strained relationship with his parents but giving the program an honest try. Likeable. 1 line 1 speech $75/day
Recently sober like Magdalena. Looks forward to the AA meetings as his only source of socialization. 4 lines $75/day 2 SCENES
These guys slip into a pocket near an underpass in the early morning, and pop open their bottles. The heckles and jeer at Magdalena in a pivotal moment in the film. Some improv good but not necessary. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH EARLY MORNING EXTERIOR SHOOT IN PARK. 5 lines each $75/day
