Wealthy British bachelor. Obsessively driven but extremely ethical and principled. A man of the world. Incredibly precise but emotionally detached. Upper class British accent.
Fogg’s new valet. Devoted, intelligent and somewhat impulsive. Physical comedy skills an asset. French accent.
A young widow. Courageous, resourceful and compassionate. An Indian woman with a formal British education. Some degree of British/Indian accent.
A police inspector from Scotland Yard. Clouseau-ish. Stubborn, determined and somewhat dense. British Isles accent (flexible).
Fogg’s former valet, terminated for undisclosed performance reasons. Sarcastic and somewhat bitter. British Isles accent (flexible).
British officer who has lived in India for quite some time. Encounters Fogg in his travels. Friendly, honorable and knowledgeable. Upper class British accent.
Plays numerous roles through the play including that of a narrator (who sometimes also interacts with the play’s characters). Knowing and with sense of humor but “plays it straight” at all times. Actor should use their own natural accent for this role.
