VERONICAFemale24-30 y.o.All ethnicities

Lead. Veronica is a messy 20-something still attempting to understand where she fits in the world. Coming home for Christmas is hard for her, which is why she hasn't done it in 2 years, and though she attempts to resist reminiscing at every corner she turns, she cannot help but reckon with the home she is saying goodbye to.

ERICMale22-32 y.o.All ethnicities

Supporting. Eric never left his hometown and is spending the holidays how he spends every other day of the year: cruising around town aimlessly, looking for anything interesting. Veronica fascinates him and is a blast from the past, visualizing for him all the ways he has stayed the same.

MOMFemale50-60 y.o.All ethnicities

Supporting. Mom could not be more happy Veronica is home for Christmas, and treads lightly at fear of scaring her away. She does not fully understand Veronica or her struggles coming back home, but doesn't need to, and just wants to make the most of the holiday in the home where they shared so many memories.

DADMale55-65 y.o.All ethnicities

Supporting. Dad is excited Veronica is home for Christmas, but not without thirty other things on his mind. In the middle of moving, the best way he can think to celebrate is by helping Mom make the holiday special and keep working to provide and be there for Mom and Veronica.
