About the project: At the crossroads of adulthood, wading through reflections of his future self, a young man has a single night to decide whether to go with the flow of his small town or take fate into his own hands. Rate: Volunteer (unpaid), Non-Union. Additional information: September 25th - 28th 2026. Vancouver Island (Nanaimo/Qualicum). Sept 25th-28th. A directionless youth with a knack for engines, he dreams of driving far away. While unfulfilled by his routine, Rob hesitates to commit to change, relying on the flip of a coin for guidance.
Sept 26th-28th. Rob’s rambunctious best friend. Outwardly happy-go-lucky, cares deeply about companionship. Teases Rob out of his comfort zone, who ends up further than Joey may prefer to wander.
Sept 25th. An older, wizened version of who Rob could become. Owner of the local gas station store. Won’t take lip from anyone, especially lazy kids, but always has a nugget of truth to share.
Sept 26th-27th. A spectre of the unknown, embodied by a past crush, seen only by Rob. She is the potential of all he could risk to have, but is too hesitant to seek out.
