"Testament Falls" Pilot
Testament Falls is a rugged mountain community where lives naturally intersect. People see each other at school drop-off, Friday-night soccer games, church on Sunday, the local coffee shop, the grocery store, and across backyard fences. They know each other's names and think they know each other's stories. Usually, they don't. Over the course of one year, audiences will slowly discover what is happening behind the doors of this community: a respected businessman hiding an addiction; a mother quietly becoming dependent on prescription pain medication after an injury; a child entering foster care who has stopped believing adults when they say, “You're safe”; a family learning how to keep living after losing someone they love to suicide; a marriage quietly unraveling; and a teenager celebrated beneath the Friday-night lights who is struggling when no one is watching.

Levi is a respected and dependable man in Testament Falls: Hannah's husband of fifteen years, father to Micah and Bekah, high-school soccer coach, school-board figure, church member scheduled to speak, and a man known for building houses around town. Under that trusted public image, he is hiding a serious drinking problem. The story opens after he crashes his Bronco while intoxicated, leaving him injured, trapped, terrified, and deeply afraid that the community will discover the truth.
Levi's wife of fifteen years and mother of Micah and Bekah. Hannah is introduced during an ordinary night at home when she receives the late-night call that her husband has been in a serious accident. She is loving, emotionally grounded, and clearly a woman of faith, but she has also noticed signs of Levi's drinking for months. At the hospital, relief that he survived turns into shock when she learns his blood-alcohol concentration was .18.
Sheriff of Testament Falls and personally connected to Levi as a friend, neighbor, and fellow church member. Tom helps command the rescue scene, but he also begins to recognize that Levi's explanation of the crash does not add up. His position creates a strong conflict: he must perform his duty as sheriff while dealing with someone he knows and respects.
Hannah's older sister, specifically described as five years older. Sabrina lives nearby and responds immediately when Hannah learns about the crash. She brings Hannah a vehicle, stays behind to help with the children, and becomes the person Hannah can physically and emotionally collapse into during the crisis.
The night trauma specialist treating Levi at St. Luke's. Dr. Carter determines that Levi has avoided catastrophic internal injuries despite the violent crash. He later has the responsibility of telling Hannah that Levi's blood-alcohol concentration was .18 and that the hospital confirmed the result twice.
Emergency-room nurse working with Dr. Carter. Rachel understands immediately that Levi's alcohol level will create consequences beyond his physical injuries. When Hannah arrives in a panic, Rachel becomes the compassionate human connection inside the hospital, reassuring her that Levi is alive, supporting her physically, and guiding her to his room.
Valley County Sheriff's Office deputy who calls Hannah at 10:47 p.m. to tell her that Levi has been involved in an auto accident and has been transported to St. Luke's. The scene depends heavily on the deputy's calm delivery and the tension created by pauses before difficult information.
Multiple firefighters stabilize the Bronco, monitor Levi, manage the gasoline hazard, and perform the extraction with the Jaws of Life. At least one firefighter has enough familiarity with Levi to make a pointed comment about his honesty, reinforcing that the rescue is happening inside a community where people know him.
Part of the emergency team caring for Levi after the extraction. A paramedic interrupts Sheriff Briggs' questioning because Levi needs immediate hospital transport and additional evaluation.
A teenage boy traveling with his father discovers the wreck and immediately recognizes Levi as Coach Mathewson. His recognition is a key story beat because Levi realizes almost instantly that his secret is beginning to move into the community.
