The man is completely absorbed in his phone, excitedly reading about the advantages of his new credit union, Achieva: competitive rates, savings, and the kind of benefits that make him forget the outside world exists. Across from him, his girlfriend begins choking on a cherry tomato. At first it is subtle. Then it becomes a full-blown crisis: she waves her arms, knocks something over, and tries desperately to get his attention. In the soft-focus background, waitstaff rush in. Other diners react. The man never looks up. Finally, she coughs the tomato out. Catching her breath, she looks at his phone and says: "3.9% APY on a 6-month CD?!""
