About the project: ELDEST DAUGHTER follows Zofia, a Polish-Canadian woman visiting her grandparents in Toronto. Over an ordinary summer day, encounters with her family gradually expose the pressure surrounding her unmarried life, while an uncanny presence that has long haunted the house draws closer. As reality and Slavic folklore begin to blur, Zofia is confronted by an unsettling spirit in the garden. Rate: NON-UNION. UNPAID, any expenses covered, travel and meals provided. Additional information: Shooting in October. This is an independently produced, self-funded short film with no performer budget but a strong story and an experienced team. SHOOT: OCT 3RD & 4TH.
