Casting Performers for "The Thanksgiving Play" Play
Performers wanted for "The Thanksgiving Play". See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Location: M&D Playhouse, Eastern Slope Inn, 2760 White Mountain Highway, North Conway, NH. Performances: November 5–15, 2026. Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 PM; Sunday at 3:30 PM. Performers of all abilities welcome. No discrimination against race, color, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation. If interested, please apply.
4 roles
Female presenting. The high school drama teacher that’s always pushing the envelope in potentially inappropriate ways. Earnest about theater and proving herself.
Male presenting. Yoga practitioner/actor. Politically correct to a fault, a big one. He’s that confident guy everyone loves, but his logical PC thinking takes weird turns.
Female presenting. Has looks that would have been cast as ethnic in 1950s movies. Without guile. Sexy and hot, but not bright.
Male presenting. The academic. Awkward elementary school history teacher with dramatic aspiration but no experience.
