Casting Call for a Feature Film "Offline 1997"

About the project: This is a story about the modern generation’s dependence on technology — and about how, sometimes, in order to learn how to communicate with one another again, we need to completely lose our connection to the digital world. Rate: The project is non-union. This is a low-budget independent project, so the budget is limited. Depending on the position and available funds, limited compensation or no monetary compensation may be possible. Food and drinks will be provided during filming. All conditions, including financial terms, must be indicated when contacting them. Additional information: Genre: sci-fi/comedy/social. Format: independent feature film Main period: starting September 8, 2026. The start of filming may be moved to September 15, 2026. Filming is planned to take place over approximately two weeks. Rehearsal: September 7 (may be postponed together with the main filming period). LOCATIONS: Vancouver/Maple Ridge, British Columbia. One additional location is also currently being sought. For participants from Vancouver who require transportation to Maple Ridge, transportation will be provided. Please, see the attachment.
