Performers Needed for Upcoming Production
The company is hiring 3 actors for continuing run of The Jury Experience , please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Rehearsals: $18/hour per actor for rehearsal hours attended. Principal Show Day Rate: $340 per performance day, inclusive of any day-of rehearsals at the venue + $20 per diem. Understudy Show Day Rate: $100 per performance day to hold the date. If performing in a principal role, will instead receive principal day rate of $340 per performance day + per diem. Additional info: Location: Pittsburgh, PA Union Status: Non-Union Rehearsal Dates: August 31 - September 4 from 5:30-9:30 PM in Pittsburgh (20 hours) Performance Dates: 2 Shows Per Date @ 4:30 & 7:00 PM Sunday, September 6 Saturday, November 21 Sunday, December 16 Additional show dates will be added and looking for cast members that are Pittsburgh, PA local hires and have continuing availability through 2027. Description: A blue-collar cab driver type who prides himself on being a “regular guy.” Outwardly friendly, talkative, and confident, but his charm hides deep insecurity. When challenged—especially by women—his easygoing demeanor gives way to aggression and defensiveness. Personality Notes: Charismatic but volatile; a man masking vulnerability with bravado. Appearance: Approachable yet capable of intimidation; average build and grounded presence.
Description: A corporate lawyer reluctantly drawn into a public trial far outside his comfort zone. He begins the case flustered and unprepared but relies on quick wit and instinct to stay afloat—growing in confidence as he faces moral and personal challenges. Personality Notes: Smart, anxious, endearing; a reluctant hero type. Appearance: Corporate, clean-cut, professional with a touch of charm.
