"Clos(in)g" Audition for the Theater

About the project: Set inside a soon-to-be-shuttered apartment building, Clos(in)g is a new play that explores family, love, and the constant act of code-switching to survive. As neighbors face the loss of their homes, the story unpacks what it means to belong — and what's at stake when communities are displaced. At its heart, it is about resilience, relationships, and the fight to hold on when the world tells you to let go. Rate: One-time stipend of $225. Artists are able to earn additional compensation for key audience referrals. Additional info: Video auditions accepted now. Submit by Friday, September 4th, 2026 for first consideration. Auditions accepted after as well. Rehearsals: May 11th–15th, 2026, 6:00–10:00 PM (2–3 hour rehearsals each day, exact time TBD). Performances: May 16th 6:00–10:00 PM; May 17th 5:00–9:00 PM.
