"No Saints" Student Film Needs Actors
Open casting call for senior thesis film "No Saints". Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Genre: Supernatural/Drama. Logline: An angel confronts a murderer. Rate: Compensation for gas, meals, film credit, film copy. Additional info: Callbacks will be held in person, scheduled at a time that works for you. Shoot dates: the goal is late October-early November, depending on everyone's schedules. 4 days for Lucy and the Soldier. Shooting locations: a cabin in Idaho Springs, and one other location TBD. Civil war has come upon America again, and Lucy’s brother is drafted, leaving her to care for his two children. She’s educated and capable, and was meant for something more than this– but what other option is there? A month ago, she discovered an enemy trooper hiding in the barn, and killed him in a panic. She pushes this secret deep down, but the guilt is eating her alive.
An angel, sent from Heaven to roam the Earth and collect confessions from sinners. He’s cold and calculating, and has no sympathy for the people he visits. What does it matter, as long as the job gets done?
