About the project: Logline: Paul has built an identity of toughness to survive a life that has left him with few choices. His friend then offers him a job that threatens to shatter everything he believes he has. Rate: Unmarried. Open to both actors and amateur talents. Non-paid artisanal and independent project (meals and transportation included). Additional information: Location: Montreal. Dates: Between mid and end of October. Deadline: Sunday, September 6. Main role, average size, Caucasian/merditéranéen. Paul is a young man trying to escape his reality. He uses English instead of his mother tongue, French. He has a strong character, does not tolerate being ordered around, and keeps his emotions to himself. Requirement: Mastery of French and English (bilingual dialogues).
Second role, average size, Caucasian/merditéranéen. Joe is the son of a wealthy mafia boss. He is intelligent, charismatic, and manipulative. He speaks English fluently. Requirement: Perfect mastery of English.
Secondary role, average size. Paul's mother raised him alone after the death of his husband. She is frustrated with the way she makes her money, a frustration that affects her son. Requirement: Perfect mastery of French.
Secondary role, large size. He is a reflective man who lives, among other things, on petty crimes. He is not deeply evil and has empathy. Requirement: Perfect mastery of French.
