About the project: SYNOPSIS: This darkly comic fable of brotherly love and family identity is Suzan-Lori Parks’ groundbreaking, Pulitzer-winning riff on the way we are defined by history. The play tells the story of Lincoln and Booth, two brothers whose names were given to them as a joke, foretelling a lifetime of sibling rivalry and resentment. Haunted by the past, the brothers are forced to confront the shattering reality of their future. Rate: Bay Area Theatre $651 weekly minimum (Tier 3) Additional info: Local Bay Area actors are encouraged to audition. PREPARATION: Please prepare a contemporary monologue no more than two-minutes. If you wish to be considered for the musical, please prepare 16-bars of an up-tempo song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. An Equity Monitor will not be provided.
