Cast and Extras Call for a Short Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED Looking for adults of all ages, genders and backgrounds for several small roles in an upcoming short film. Please, see the details below. Rate: These are paid roles, with a modest honorarium provided to each performer. Additional information: Shooting in Saskatoon from September 14–17, 2026. Looking for interesting, natural people who can bring these small moments to life. Selected actors will only be required for their scheduled scene(s), not for the full four-day shoot. When applying, please submit a head shot or recent photo and acting resume, if you have one. If you don’t have a resume, that’s completely fine — just tell directors a little about yourself. Please include your availability between September 14 and 17.

In each scene, you’ll be interacting with a character who is panhandling — sometimes positively, sometimes negatively, depending on the character and scene. No professional acting experience is required.
