Supporting. Puerto-Rican. Sandra is a perfectionist dedicated to her roles as mother, wife, and chef. She upholds the same high standards in others as she does in herself. Must be able to speak fluent Spanish (colloquial Puerto Rican).
Supporting. Cuban-American. Cruz is a frustrated workaholic. He's afraid of his age and a victim of his past. He pushes his family away in an attempt to fulfill his dreams, while simultaneously living vicariously through his daughter's. Must be able to speak intermediate Spanish (ideally colloquial Cuban and Miami dialect) and be comfortable driving while performing.
