Adult Brian is a thoughtful, warm creative professional who never let go of the story he imagined as a child; scenes are reflective and tender and largely non-verbal, emotion-forward rather than dialogue-driven; will be cast as a matched pair with Young Brian; facial resemblance is a key selection factor; this role also performs the film's voiceover narration, recorded on set the same day; a warm, natural, emotionally resonant narration voice is required.
Brian's Mother is the emotional lead alongside Brian. Seeking a warm, expressive actor who can convey tenderness, pride, and quiet heartache with little dialogue. Requirements: Maternal; can play ~45 and, with makeup, ~60; comfortable with aging makeup; believable as mother to Young Brian (13) and Adult Brian (35); East Asian/Korean-American.
