Seeking Participants for Documentary "Miroir"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. As part of the production of the independent documentary "Miroir", directors are looking for family members with a loved one in a situation of disability who wish to participate in a documentary project about their experience and their family reality. More details are below. About the project: Miroir is interested in a dimension of disability that is still too little addressed, namely its impact on the entire family. If the voice of people with disabilities is essential, that of their loved ones is often less heard. The documentary aims to give them a place in order to better understand their realities, their challenges, their emotions, their responsibilities and the transformations that disability can bring within a family. The project is being carried out by a director, himself affected by cerebral palsy. This personal reality is the starting point of the documentary and fuels a deeply human approach aimed at understanding and shedding light on the experiences of those who accompany a person with a disability on a daily basis. Additional information: Location Montreal and surroundings. Period end of week in November and December 2026. Independent documentary format. The project is driven by the desire to create a respectful, compassionate and non-judgmental space where each participant can freely testify to their experience. If you're interested, please apply.
