Supporting. Derek's department manager, direct, authoritative, and demanding. Delivers the reprimand that sets the story in motion and later congratulates Derek on his promotion.
Supporting. Derek's coworker on the sales floor, casual, confident, and trusting of Derek's (Velma guided) advice.
Supporting. Works the counter at the coffee shop in the opening scene, a brief but pivotal role in establishing Derek's indecision.
