Seeking Performer for "Woking Phoenix" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Audition for 2027 National tour of "Woking Phoenix" for the role of Ma. More details are below. About the project: Storyline: An epic exploration of two decades of a family’s survival. Woking Phoenix tells the story of three siblings, their mother, and their restaurant as they seek to find belonging within small-town Ontario. An intergenerational Chinese love story about creating community and the food that reminds us of home. Rate: Union Contract: CAEA (CTA). Additional information: Location: In person in Toronto (location will be given in the confirmation email) Important Dates: Looking for actors who are ideally able to commit to the full tour (or a minimum of two stops if there are scheduling conflicts). February 16 - March 5, 2027: Rehearsal in Toronto, ON. March 6, 2027: Travel day to Richmond, BC March 8 - March 11, 2027: Technical Rehearsals in Richmond, BC. March 11 - March 20, 2027: 12 Performances at Gateway Theatre in Richmond, BC March 21, 2027: Fly back home. May 10 - May 16, 2027: Refresher Rehearsals in Toronto, ON. May 18, 2027: Travel day May 19-21 2027: Technical Rehearsals in Ontario. May 21 - June 5, 2027: 18 performances June 6, 2027: Travel Day home. September 7 - September 12, 2027: Refresher rehearsals in Toronto, ON. September 14, 2027: Travel day. September 15 - 16, 2027: Technical rehearsal. September 17 - October 9, 2027.
