About the project: Set against a dystopian military academy backdrop, Assassinated follows a group of young recruits subjected to brutal training and extreme violence. When two young soldiers attempt a desperate escape, they embark on a chaotic journey through remote terrain and bright cityscapes, struggling with trauma, survival, and unexpected intimacy while pursued by an unrelenting commander. Rate: Non-Union, Credit, Meals, & Reel Footage Provided. Additional information: Genre: Dystopian Action Thriller/Dark Drama. Shooting Location: Hamilton, ON & Surrounding Greater Toronto Area (GTA). KEY ROLE. Dominating, ruthless, and authoritative. The primary antagonist who runs the military school with extreme discipline and zero empathy. Strong vocal command and imposing presence required. Locations: Filming on location at industrial/institutional facilities in Hamilton & Brantford.
KEY ROLE. South Asian/Muslim. Hot-tempered and defiant. Pushed to his limit by academy bullies, leading to a violent altercation. Locations: Cafeteria scenes shooting in Hamilton.
KEY ROLE. Fiercely protective, emotional, and tough. Will stop at nothing to defend her son when the military comes searching for him. High emotional range and physical stunt performance required. Locations: Residential shoot in Ancaster/Dundas.
KEY ROLE. An eccentric local and former academy student who offers temporary shelter to the runaway recruits. Warm, weathered demeanor. Locations: Rural property shoot in Niagara-on-the-Lake/Grimsby area.
KEY ROLE. Inquisitive and charming interviewer meeting the main character years after the events of the military academy. Smooth conversational delivery. Locations: Downtown Toronto/Hamilton lounge locations.
