Woman; 45 to 60 years old; all ethnicities. Fire Chief Waldrup’s wife. She’s no-nonsense, a little intense, and will suffer no fools. A former combat nurse, she has worked in some of the most inhospitable places imaginable and therefore can come across as lacking bedside manners to some of her patients. Rate: $250/day
Woman; 20 to 25 years old; all ethnicities. Andi is just out of nursing school, desperate to fit in, and is absolutely terrified of Emmylou – to the detriment of her work. She will have to learn to believe in herself. Rate: $200/day
Man; 20 to 25 years old; all ethnicities. Kirk is a trainee doctor, working under Emmylou. He's desperate to impress Andi and Doctor Emmylou, hoping to win them over by being like the cool, suave, above-it-all doctors he’s seen on TV. Rate: $200/day
Woman; 55 to 65 years old; all ethnicities. The wise-cracking receptionist, handywoman, and all-around fixer at the rural medical center that Emmylou runs. Ma Cleary was Grace’s mother’s best friend, she’s always ready with a snarky word, encouragement, or sympathy. Rate: $200/day
