About the project: This year's production will be workshopped by the adult cast from the original novella, exploring new ways of dramatizing the story and finding fresh approaches to the material. The production seeks an ensemble cast with each actor playing more than one role, except for the actor playing Scrooge. Includes music of the era. Additional info: Audition location: 600 Wolfe Street, Alexandria, VA. Callbacks: August 25th by invitation only. Children's auditions: October 3–4. Performance dates: December 5–19, 2026. Rehearsal information to be provided. Seeking actors who can carry a tune and/or play an instrument such as guitar, violin, or piano; who can move and have a sense of rhythm; and who are eager to workshop and redramatize the story.
