About the project: The film follows Mary and Tim, a young couple journeying the vast forests of the Pacific Northwest, as their getaway descends into a fight for survival when they’re attacked by a vicious creature, leaving one of them wounded and slowly consumed by a disturbing sickness. Rate: $200/day Additional info: Shooting, ideally, in late September. This will be a 1-2 day shoot in the Portland area. Our film is nearing picture lock, but there are additional scenes we need to shoot. Particularly, for the film’s opening, which showcases Mary’s mother, Emily. Emily is a vital character in our story, as she is the whole reason it kicks off in the first place, and her presence is felt throughout the entire run time. Years and years following her untimely death, Mary seeks closure for her loss with Tim as they seek to conquer the trail Emily never got the chance to, or so she thinks.
