Lead. Eastern European, Mixed. Nora, is a charismatic, mid-20s and the driving force behind the Cryptid Caravan YouTube show. Bold, flirtatious, and obsessed with "feeding the YouTube gods." THIS ROLE REQUIRES PARTIAL NUDITY AND INTIMACY.
Lead. Grace is the demure camerawoman for Cryptid Caravan. As the pragmatic "straight man" to Nora's wild energy, she is the first to sense the genuine danger lurking in Whitefish.
Lead. Erik presents as the boy next door: handsome, athletic, and charmingly helpful. Erik is magnetically drawn to Nora but is it merely her charismatic presence, or something more? THIS ROLE REQUIRES PARTIAL NUDITY AND INTIMACY.
Supporting Darren is a surly, entitled native with a "scarred liver" and a chip on his shoulder. He despises "tourists" and "transplants" who he feels have diluted the town's traditions.
Supporing Gordon is a Whitefish native who looks as if he has been "weathered by time". He serves as the bridge between the town's commercialized Winter Carnival and its terrifying roots in Norse mythology. He possesses a deep, unsettling knowledge of the "dark magics" the Yetis use to snatch humans.
Supporting Marc is a local nice guy, who volunteers at the Winter Carnival.
Supporting Mi-Teh is the Yeti. This role calls for creature acting. Need a larger muscular actor, over 6 feet tall.
The local bar owner.
Cold:
Non Speaking. Rugged hunter in the wilderness who encounters the Yeti in the opening scene. THIS ROLE REQUIRES LIGHT INTIMACY (A forehead kiss).
Non-Speaking. Stays at camp with their newborn baby while her husband goes to hunt. THIS ROLE REQUIRES PARTIAL NUDITY (to simulate breastfeeding) AND LIGHT INTIMACY (forehead kiss).
