"Leader of The Pack" Audition for the Theater
Casting Equity actors for 2027 season show "Leader of The Pack" - video submissions. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. The relevant details are provided below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: Leader of the Pack – is a jukebox musical celebrating the life and career of legendary songwriter Ellie Greenwich, featuring over 30 classic hits of the 1960s including "Be My Baby," "Da Doo Ron Ron," "Chapel of Love," "Do Wah Diddy Diddy," "River Deep, Mountain High," and "Leader of the Pack." Rate: $675 weekly minimum. Additional info: Theatre will view at least 150 video submissions from Equity members. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Pop belt. Acts as narrator. Must possess incredible vocal power and stage presence.
Tenor. Ellie's songwriting partner and husband. Charming, ambitious, and eventually conflicted about balancing career and family life.
Baritone. A charismatic record producer modeled after the larger-than-life Brill Building producers of the era.
Plays various roles of Mickey, Shelley, Rosie, Keith, Peter, Harmony singers, songwriters, etc., Exceptionally good singers and movers.
