About the project: Logline: James, an observant man, is hired to watch a wall alongside two coworkers: Marcel, a nervous man, and Rusty, an unbothered man. They only have one rule: One person must always be looking at it. When James sees the wall move, he begins to question reality, his coworkers don’t see what he is seeing. When his co-workers don’t believe him, James struggles to understand what is happening, and how in danger they might be. Additional info: Accepting digital auditions. A non union casting call. Observant and curious. He is comfortable with his co-workers but keeps them at an arms distance. He is exhausted and bored at work, so he questions his surroundings.
He shows up to work to get paid and get out. He jokes around with Marcel and has small talk with James. He works three jobs and uses this job to relax and smoke.
Was a sheltered kid his whole life and now is working his first job to support his mom going through Chemo. He looks at Rusty as his friend and wants to be a little bit more like James. He likes to keep small talk going but when things get serious, he gets easily overwhelmed and in denial.
