Performers Required For New Cabaret Troupe

Performers wanted for a new cabaret troupe. See the breakdown below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Forming a new cabaret troupe in Cleveland, Ohio. Performances will occur in venues outside of the traditional auditorium, covering a wide variety of genres from pop/rock to Broadway/holiday classics. Seeking skilled musicians (no drums needed) who can read charts. Ability to sing background vocals a major plus. Must be comfortable interacting with the singers. Seeking singers/performers who can move (basic choreo) and have superior performance improv skills. Ability to read the room and react to the environment is necessary. Please prepare 16–32 bars of an uptempo pop/rock song, ballad, and musical theatre choice. Video submissions accepted through Friday, August 21. Callbacks Sunday, August 23, 3–7pm. All rehearsals held at the dance hub downtown. Free parking. Rehearsal schedule: 8/27 | 6:30–9:30pm 9/2 | 7:30–10:00pm 9/9 | 7:30–10:00pm 9/13 | 4:00–9:00pm 9/17 | 6:30–10:30pm 9/20 | 4:00–8:00/9pm Week of 9/21 — one tech rehearsal in the evening (venue-dependent).
