About the project: An isolated, homeless young man attempts to live a normal Toronto life by funding his daily survival through the deeply awkward logistics of petty theft, low-level dealing, and panhandling. Rate: Non-Union/Unpaid. High-quality footage for your reel, IMDb credit, and excellent on-set catering/craft services will be provided. Additional information: Independent Short Film (Dramedy/Character Study). Shooting Location: Toronto, ON (GTA). Shooting Dates: Fall 2026 (Tentative 2-Day Shoot). He acts like he has it all together, using an effortless urban exterior as a shield to hide the fact that he is homeless, jobless, and alone. He is too proud to ask for help, digging himself into increasingly awkward social holes until his reality catches up with him. Must be comfortable balancing subtle comedic desperation with a heavy, dramatic emotional breakdown.
South Asian. An eccentric neighborhood antihero operating on a unique moral compass and deep personal principles. He uses a dangerous street presence as a shield to protect his fiercely loyal, large-hearted nature, making him the absolute definition of "best friend or worst enemy." Must be capable of balancing disarming comedic warmth with a cold, unpredictable undercurrent of menace.
A sharp, hyper-focused corporate climber navigating the relentless daily grind. She projects absolute control to mask an underlying exhaustion, rarely dropping her guard unless pushed to her absolute limit. Strategic, highly intelligent, and fiercely independent, she handles unexpected chaos with a terrifyingly polite diplomacy—until her boundaries are crossed.
