Singing Audition for Musical "School of Hard Knocks"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking talent for a new musical "School of Hard Knocks". Please, see the details below. About the project: A new rock musical, "School of Hard Knocks," based on the GASM concept album and the novel by Andy Simpson and Jesse Gibson. Gerry Madden, composer; Andy Simpson, lyricist; Andy Simpson/Jesse Gibson, book. Rate: Unpaid/volunteer. Additional information: Submissions will be accepted via Zoom or a video link sent by email; the deadline is August 31st. The creative team will review submissions by the cut-off date; callbacks will follow on September 8th, time TBD. The rehearsal schedule and location are TBD. When applying, please prepare no more than a minute each of two rock songs from the '70s, '80s, or '90s - one up-tempo, one ballad showing range, stamina, emotion, and proper vocal technique (for younger performers in particular), as well as two short spoken pieces (one comic, one dramatic).
